Co-operation

(section 8 of the Act) In some cases, an individual or organisation can have some level of control of premises in the enhanced tier or a qualifying event without being the responsible person. In these circumstances, they must co-operate with the responsible person, so far as is reasonably practicable, to help meet the Act’s requirements. Additionally, where premises form part of larger qualifying premises, they may need to co-operate with the responsible person for the larger premises for the purposes of that responsible person complying with the requirements of the Act. See paras. 6.21 to 6.22.
