Public protection measures

(section 6 of the Act) Public protection measures are measures relating to monitoring, movement, physical safety and security, and security of information. These measures seek to reduce the risk of physical harm to people and reduce the vulnerability of the premises or event to terrorist attacks. Public protection measures are relevant to enhanced tier premises and qualifying events. See paras. 8.7 to 8.55.
